Please feel free to contact me about pricing. To let you know up front, I will probably be higher than other tuners, because I have had extensive schooling, training, and experience. You can find all this information on the Education/Experience page of my website. If you research other “tuners”, you will see that they have not been to school for this occupation and are not a Registered Piano Technician. I have come behind other "tuners" who have gone through and quote "tuned" a piano that has not been tunable for decades. The tuning pins on a piano have to have the proper amount of torque in order for it hold a tune. A piano technician needs to properly measure the amount of torque on the tuning pins in order to determine whether a piano is tunable or not. If a piano is not tunable in its current condition, but worth salvaging, other rebuilding options may be recommended to the owner.
